A Prophetic Journey into the Heart of God
Though I fall short, I’ll never let go — giving everything, to enter His Flow.
What does it cost to truly surrender? What remains when every excuse has been burned away?
In thirteen raw, unguarded poems — most written during a two-month sabbatical outside Washington, D.C., the rest in Hilo on Hawaiʻi Island — Artesius Meltin Aloka takes the reader on a journey no comfortable religion can provide. These are not poems of easy grace. They are the cries of a soul in the furnace — confessing, warning, longing, and finally resting in the One who pursued it across decades of wandering.
From the piercing self-examination of Mirror, Mirror to the whispered surrender of Life is Short, each poem is paired with a rich literary commentary that opens the spiritual and theological depths beneath the verse. Aloka writes as watchman, penitent, and mystic — sometimes in the same breath.
Seeking the Holy Flow is for those who are tired of performance and hungry for the real — for those who have heard the knock at the door and are finally ready to open it.
About the Author
Art Aloka — Artesius Meltin Aloka — is a poet, healer, and independent researcher in human perception. Since the early 1970s, when his path began with Silva cognitive training, he has pursued a single current beneath all his study: the living flow that moves through a person when the noise is stilled and the heart is turned toward its Source. Five decades of disciplined attention have been, at root, a seeking of that flow.
From his off-grid treehouse on Kīlauea’s eastern rift in Hawaiʻi — wind, ocean, and molten earth for neighbors — Art writes as one who has spent his life following the current upstream.
Seeking the Holy Flow is a prophetic pilgrimage into divine intimacy. It maps the interior journey toward the heart of God: the dry seasons and sudden springs, the surrender that opens the channel, the joy of being carried rather than striving. Art writes for readers who are tired of religion as performance and long for contact that is real — a felt communion, a holy motion they can trust. This is an invitation to stop damming the river with effort and fear, and to let yourself be drawn into the flow that has been seeking you all along.
