Speech That Requires No Language

Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts.

In 2032 the Earth begins to speak — and the machinery built to keep us from hearing is already running.

A Stanford laboratory confirms what ancient traditions have always claimed: the Earth broadcasts a coherent electromagnetic signal at 0.06 hertz — one cycle every sixteen seconds — and the human nervous system is built to receive it. When three young women prove they can not only perceive the signal but amplify it, their discovery ignites a five-year collision between those who would wake humanity to what the planet is saying and those who have spent decades making sure no one listens.

Consciousness researcher Dr. Amadou Diop, Rabbi Ezra Blackwood, cycle analyst Julian Vane, pastor Elijah Ward, and signal physicist Lucia Russo converge on volcanic Hawaiʻi, where the signal is strongest and the earth’s upheaval most undeniable. Arrayed against them: the Dampening Field, an inverted Schumann resonance threaded through the global power grid — and Halcyon, a corporate apparatus drilling sacred ground.

Spanning April 2032 to March 2037, the novel builds toward one eleven-minute broadcast to five hundred million viewers — and the ancient mechanism that activates in its wake: the pattern of unseeing, in which a civilization offered the truth mobilizes not to receive it but to set it down. The question is whether a coherent remnant — not large, but sufficient — can carry the signal through the passage before the age crosses its hinge.

Speech that requires no language. A threshold that will not wait.

About the Author

Art Aloka — Artesius Meltin Aloka — is a poet, healer, and independent researcher in human perception. His work began in the early 1970s with Silva cognitive training and grew, over five decades, into a sustained discipline of attention: reducing the noise of modern life until the subtler signals of body, soul, and world can be heard.

From his off-grid treehouse on Kīlauea’s eastern rift in Hawaiʻi, he has spent years listening to what most people are too busy to notice. The land, the tremor, and the long patience of the earth are not settings in this novel. They are its witnesses.
