Mirror Earth Birth · Muslim III
When the Old World Ends
The earth is an amānah — something placed in your keeping that is not yours, to be carried and returned.
حجاب الخراب — البعث
The Muslim edition’s third volume, and the one that turns outward. Where the first book worked on the self, this one works on what the self has done to the world it was given to keep.
Its governing word is amānah — trust. The earth held in keeping, not owned. Its governing distinction is khulāfā’: successors, trustees, those placed on the earth to hold it in care. The word does not mean owner, and that distinction is where the book begins its argument.
Six chapters, fifty-two sections, moving from The Earth Is Us through The Blade Covered With Blood to Come Forth and Be Filled. Power without taqwā, it argues, is not dominion but desolation waiting for its hour.
This is the volume with reach beyond its own shelf. The first book speaks to the individual seeker; this one speaks to anyone thinking about ecology, justice, and collapse.
About the Author
Art Aloka — also known as Artesius Meltin Aloka — is a poet, healer, and independent researcher in human perception. For more than fifty years, beginning with Silva cognitive training in the early 1970s, he has studied thresholds: the moments when one order of reality gives way and another has not yet fully formed. His work is a long apprenticeship in how to stand, conscious and unafraid, inside such a passage.
He lives off-grid on Kīlauea’s eastern rift in Hawaiʻi, at the literal edge where the old surface of the earth is unmade and the new is poured.
Veil of Desolation ReBirth is a book for the ending of an age. Art writes for readers who feel, beneath the noise of events, that an entire world is quietly concluding — and who want to meet that ending as a doorway rather than a catastrophe. When the veil of the familiar tears, what remains? What is worth carrying across, and what must be released to the fire? This is a companion for the in-between: honest about the loss, unshaken about the birth on its far side. Its promise is not that the old world will be spared, but that those who cross consciously will find something truer waiting when it ends.
